I have tried just installing Adobe Acrobat 8 (which is my highest priority right this minute!) but I receive the error message: "Windows installer service could not be accessed." Windows installer service is active and I have changed it to automatic vs. dll file from a Vista CD. If I continue the installation without it, most features function but Adobe Acrobat 8 does not. I have installed (and removed and re-installed) Adobe CS3 Design Premium on a 64-bit operating system running Windows 7 Professional. The Windows 7 compatibility center says this program should run.
